What can I expect to pay for Physical Therapy?

Here at BodyFiT Physical Therapy we think you deserve to be treated exclusively one-on-one for up to an hour, with an experienced physical therapist, who will provide hands-on/manual therapy techniques, to improve and alleviate your injury or issue as soon as possible.

We are an out-of-network provider of physical therapy services. We accept payment in the form of credit card, check, cash, FSA and HSA cards at the time of treatment. BodyFiT Physical Therapy upon request will provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. *Before clicking off this page thinking you don't want to pay for physical therapy when your insurance "will cover" physical therapy, please read the following:

Get To Know Your Insurance

1. Do you know what type of insurance plan you have for in-network?

2. Do you have an in-network deductible?

3. Do you have a co-pay?

4. How many visits are you allowed before you have to see your doctor again for another referral?

5. What are your out-of-network benefits?

Not sure what else you should ask?  We can provide you with a "What To Ask My Insurance Company" form or we can also call for you for a small fee.

Here is an example of the differences between an in-network provider and an out-of-network provider in the case of you having a small in-network deductible. If you have a $1000 in-network deductible you will be paying "cash" or "out-of-pocket" until that deductible is met. In-network providers reportedly charge between $300-$700 per visit. If we were to use the lower side of that charge, your $1000 out-of-pocket expense will be charged within the first 3 visits of physical therapy. In-network therapy facilities will also have you participate in therapy in a room full of other patients, while your therapist juggles 2-3 additional patients.  Furthermore your therapist will work with you for about 10 minutes, and then you will be told to "go do your exercices" while a tech watches you from over in the corner. Lastly, you will be asked to keep coming back for more therapy for another 4-6 weeks!

At BodyFiT Physical Therapy, you could be seen 6 times for the same amount of money and be seen by an experienced physical therapist for 100% of your visit, without other patients being in the room, with hands-on time being spent for most of your visit, and providing you with more therapy to get your condition alleviated in less visits. Because you will be attending less therapy visits, there will be less time driving back and forth to therapy, less time sitting in a crowded treatment room waiting for your therapist to get over to you, and more time to get back to what you love!

Can't seem to...

  • Improve your CrossFit WOD?
  • Has your Running time or distance plateaued?
  • Do you feel that pain or stiffness is getting in your way?

If you answered "Yes" then you may have an issue with your mobility. During the Mobility & Movement Assessment, your therapist evaluates your current movement patterns through use of the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) which is a head to toe and functional based evaluation process that establishes where you are limited in mobility and which areas you need to work on to reduce the chances of injury.
